Can God restore a marriage after a divorce and 30 years of separation? Can there be marriage between ex-spouse after a divorce? Oh yeah!
Because nothing is impossible to God. (Luke 1:37)
I share this video today to tell you my brother, my sister, that God can restore your marriage, no matter where your husband or wife is and whatever his situation! Nothing is impossible to God.
George El-Khoury divorced at age 30 and left far away from his wife and four children to become someone. He lived a life of debauchery and lust. He had the money, the glory and multitudes of women (1 different woman a day) but that did not stop the Lord Jesus from touching him and upsetting his life. Today, he is a preacher of the Gospel through which God acts signs and miracles at more than 65 years !!!
What impressed me in his testimony and which particularly interests us is that God has restored his marriage, 30 years after their divorce !!! He re-married his wife and his family was restored. God paid them back the years that the enemy had stolen from them.
Beloved, if God did it for this man of God, He can do it for you too, if you want it and if you believe it.
Jesus answered, What is impossible for men is possible to God. (Luke 18:27)
One of the problems we often have isincredulity... We rely more on what our senses can perceive, on what we feel, than on the Word of God. To someone reading this message with the desire to see his marriage restored, I would like to say that as long as you rely on the information that your 5 senses communicate to you (what your eyes can see, what your ears hear, what that you feel), you will not succeed well. In the face of adversity, you will end up discouraging yourself and giving up. He who performs deeds with God does not walk by sight, but by faith. He walks on the Word of God.
Because we walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5: 7)
What does the Bible say about your situation? And what did God tell you personally about your marriage? What did you receive from God? What have you done with this word, with these revelations that God has given you? Do you believe it?
Another problem that faces a number of us is theimpatience. We are a microwave generation. We want everything, right away. But with God it does not always work like that. Deciding to stand in the breach to restore one's marriage requires patience and perseverance.
For you need perseverance, that after doing the will of God, you will obtain what you are promised. (Hebrews 10:36)
Whatever the situation you are going through, I pray that the Lord strengthen you. I pray that His grace and favor will surround you like a shield. I pray that God will let you know more precisely His will for your marriage and your life and that He will give you the capacity, the strength you need to get through this situation, remaining entirely faithful to Him, and that you winner kinds. In the name of Jesus! Amen.
May God help us!
